Ground Floor

The first floor features stunning views overlooking the Roman plain. Guests enjoy a spacious living room with grand fireplace, plus a dining room with seating for 14. Adjacent to the living room is an intimate parlor and TV room. It’s a popular breakfast spot for many guests, thanks to its bright southern exposure to the garden. A single bedroom and bath is also available for guests who prefer to stay on the ground level. The charming country kitchen rounds out the ground floor, and is perfect for those who love to cook in the villa. It’s fully-equipped with all of the amenities you’d expect at home, complete with an impressive collection of copper pots and spices.

The property’s onsite host is often found in the first-floor farm office. He is available to answer questions, provide restaurant recommendations, suggest tours, and arrange gourmet meals by talented local home cooks. Guests can enjoy the culinary creations of a 5-star master chef whose roster of clients includes French presidents.

Second Floor

A highlight of the home is its oversized rooftop terrace. Boasting with stunning panoramic views from Rome to the Apennine mountains of Abruzzo. It’s also the perfect spot for unwinding with a glass of wine, a game of table tennis or chatting with friends and family. Four double occupancy bedrooms, 1 single occupancy bedroom, and 2 full bathrooms sit on the second floor. You will also find a bonus room! Affectionately coined “Nonno’s study,” which is Italian for grandfather, the bonus room is a perfect hangout spot with extra beds and great wifi reception.

This Is A Fabulous Place To Have A Family Reunion

“An outstanding location for a family reunion. We rented Casale Sonnino for a week for a family reunion to celebrate my wife's 80th birthday. We had our four sons and their wives to stay. It was perfect because the beautiful villa is on lovely accommodation in Rome! We also discovered many other interesting sites such as Ostia Antica and Tivoli. The owner Giorgio provided excellent service and three delicious dinners, and a birthday cake – which my wife's relations and Italian friends were invited. We all had a fabulous time!”
